MSN, why would anyone buy that kind of mouse for 78 euros if you can get a 5 dollars mouse ?
5 dollar mouses are bad. I have ~30e Microsoft Comfort Mouse 3000 which is quite decent for playing games. There is a red macro button where you can bind any action you want (I binded middle-click because it's faster to use than clicking the original mouse wheel). Mouse wheel is really smooth and buttons are sensitive.

If you ever have a chance to use a REAL gaming mouse then your old mouse feels like an ancient relic.

Not enough money.
Ping and FPS are problems for me, not mouses.
After all, mouses are all the same.
Just because one is more expensive and it is " for games " you automatically think it is better Razz

I bet you have never had quality mouse or keyboard.

It's like saying all cars are all the same.

No, I never had a mouse of quality.

Taking the cars example, it is the same for me, Lamborgini or Ford Focus ?

I will choose the Focus. It is much cheaper, it polutes much less and you can drive with it!
Only difference is that the Lamborgini is faster and polutes more.

Same happens with mouses Wink

If all mouses are all the same but cars have differences then why are you saying that "Same happens with mouses"? I don't get it.

Re: Broken mouse/new mouse

Here's my point of view:

The Wire/Wireless thing just matters how much you want to spend. A wireless mouse with the same performance as a wired one, cost 15% more. The only reason I'd get a cordless one, is when i go nuts because the cable has a unpredictable resistance in your mouse movement. Most gaming mice have high end cables witch bring this down to pretty mutch zero.

DPI is very important. But its not everything. And the limit of our hands is about 4000DPI, so its pretty mutch useless to go higher. The accelaration (amout of g's it takes befor it does wierd stuff) is important too. The fotts of your mouse is a main factor too.

Its important you have some function buttons. But dont go to far in it. Dont spend ten bucks more, just because it has 10 instead of 5 buttons. You'l only use 6 of them anyway.

Laser is the thing you need. Dont even consider anything else.

A other very important thing is a decent mousepad. dont be afraid to spend some money on it, its worth it.

@ Adam: the difrence in mouses are hudge. Your example of focus and lambo is good, but you dont use it corectly. Compare the focus with an avaredge desktop mouse, just to check your mail and stuff. The lambo is a Super-high-end gaming mouse (like the razer mamba or logitec g9). As long that all you do is check your mail and work in word, the simple mouse is better than the gamin mouse. Its cheaper, yet more than capable of the job. But, when you go gamin, it sucks. The gaming mouse will kick its ass. imagine a dragrace between a focus and a lambo. I thikn thats a pretty predictible end isnt it?

Hers my mouse, the razer lachesis:

Raze Mamba, wireles 5000DPI gamin mouse, 130$, i think its one of the best you can get nowadays

Logitech G9x 3200 DPI corded 74£

Razer lachsesis, 4000DPI corded mouse 79$

logitech g5, 2000 DPI corded mouse 79$

Razer deathadder 3500 DPI corded mouse 59$

theere are lots more, but i think if you go for logitech or razer your always good.

Gaming mouse users train too. Smile

Btw it's MUCH easier to coil/tempest people if you have aquired a decent mouse pad. I had to lower my sensitive because my mouse glide like a granny on ice. Very Happy The mouse reacts much precisely.

I love the razer setup thingy. it actualy lets me select different profiles with diferent weapons. on coil, tempest, mmbow and lightning, i need 7.8 cm for a ful spin, on all other range 4.3, and on melee 1.8.

and i suckt at beast melee with my old lodgitec came-with-the-pc-for-free. Now i think im exeptably good. i stil use the cheap one for normal computing thought
