Cooking...

Post by Rumo on Sat 06 Feb 2010, 9:26 am

Hey guys,
one of my favourite things to do at home is to cook. What are your favourite meals and can you cook too?

Well, it is a cliché that germans just eat sauerkraut and schnitzel, but in my case it´s true. Hmm, when a schnitzel is crusty i could die for it. ANd btw, are there any national typical meals of your country?

I want to taste that schnitzels)) I can cook also. It's often eggs with bacon on breakfast, different kinds of soups on dinner but the main thing is supper. I can cook pizza or fried chicken wings with potatoes, cakes, cookies and so on) The national meal of Ukraine is Borscht - kind of soup. It is made with beetroot as the main ingredient, giving it a deep red color. Very tasty.

I can cook Hamburger! Egg! Whatever is easy to do!
My prefered plates are: Quail & fries; 500g steak with fries; Robalo & potatoes; my own made burger;

Ya see, i luv fries, and i'm not a big lover of FISH.
I used google translator cuz i didn't knew what was Robalo in English, and turns out to be the same word... Google it, and see images anyway if you don't know... It's FREAKING TASTY!

I like Picanha + Farofa + Rice + 3 Eggs + Black beans = In one meal.
It's typical Brazilian food. We eat it 4 times a week.

Picanha = Maybe you guys know it as "Argentinian Beef" IT'S NOT. It's Brazilian...
Farofa = It's something you put on the rice, usually. Check it on Google Translator.

Btw : I can cook orange cake, Spaghetti a la Bolognesa and my favourite meal.

My mom can make some really awesome pasta dishes, like noodles with white mushroom cream sauce, and also she is really good at cooking salmon and adding some really nice flavor and sauce.

I personally can't cook though (Only thing I can do is make sandwhiches), but that is something I want to learn. Then I can cook awesome meals when I get my own house. =D

xD That's an interesting picture. The cassoulet looks like a soup. (Alphabet soup). I'll be sure to investigate this next time I'm in France. (This is a french dish right?)

And Tom, you are also probably good at eating the chocolate too. xD
