Hello there, and know that you have reached the home of The Hunterz, where we encourage you to join our friendly community and have a peek at our clan.
What is The Hunterz? -- We are an english-speaking clan that plays the online game called; Savage: The Battle for Newerth. Our clan-tag is TH. We aim to be a medium-sized community with a social and friendly focus on playing the game. We do aim to be a competitive clan, but we also aim to have fun, teamwork, and promote a respectful, inclusive environment for people to enjoy Savage in. If your looking for an ultra-skilled clan with goals to be elite and always 100% win matches, then this clan isn't for you. Likewise, if your interested in friendly conversations, a welcoming atmosphere, and being kind to people in-game and out-of-game, then welcome to our home.
Objective -- The Hunterz aim to encourage a friendly and fun atmosphere; we want to play the game and share friendly laughs with other players, we want to foster an inclusive community spirit that allows others to share the fun with us. This in turn, will create a legacy, history, and foundation for many fond memories and stories to tell years later. We hope the positive values in this community may lead to bigger projects and initiatives for online gaming in the future.
Core Values -- Respect, integrity, maturity, and the ability to communicate and connect with other players on a positive, personal level are what we value in this clan. We aren't looking for the top-skilled players -- we are more likely to ask those whom are friendly, have a sense of humor, and contribute to a fun atmosphere that does not put down others. Demonstrating inclusion, kindness, and fun are among the many other values we greatly encourage in the community.
Discipline Enforcement -- We believe strongly in our ideals and vision. Players whom constantly violate our expectations and earn themselves the right to be removed from the community will be removed with little mercy or prior notice. Stay friendly, mature, and respectful of others, and you will always be welcome.
English -- English is the main language around here. Knowing how to speak it, type it, and understand it are mandatory requirements to joining our clan. Other people must also be able to understand you fairly well. Yet at the same time, we make exceptions where necessary.

I don't like doing this folks, and let me say that posting these kind of topics as main announcements on our forum isn't the kind of stuff I regularly want to be posting -- but for the sake of explaining why, let me just say that while some things in life like the SOPA and PIPA protests feel like very big things (and they are), it is important to understand that they are not the only problems that we will be faced with in our lifetime.
ACTA is another serious attempt by powerful corporations to control things in this world for their own selfish benefits -- and they are getting these kind of things done by being sneaky -- sneaky as in avoiding the democratic process and trying to get laws passed that will help control YOU more, without you even AGREEING, or without you even knowing.

Hello TH folks,
As gamers you may have noticed today a number of websites across the entire internet have been shutdown, or have notices concerning the subject titles like 'SOPA' and 'PIPA'. While here at TH we aren't shutting down anything -- we do want to let you know about this internet-wide event taking place today.
SOPA and PIPA are laws that will greatly restrict how we use the internet -- and as gamers it directly affects us as well as many other people. If these laws are accepted in the United States, it will have an impact across the entire world -- and media corporations will have more power over the internet to shut down a lot more websites that they wish -- in fact, if such laws are passed, a simple gaming community forum like ours could be permanently taken offline for petty reasons such as "We just think this website might be harmful or doing something illegal, we have no proof, but we will get the …

It's not the FULL version, but it contains lots of new features that we previously only heard from reading developer posts, or from gossip other people spread around. That's right folks -- I'm not much into competitive forum games like Mafia, but over at Newerth.com, Mafia has become a very successful Savage Community forum activity/event. And a few days ago, a new 'Mafia 2 - Healer War (SIGN-UP) ' has just been opened to the community!
Our very own DieOrFail participated in the last Mafia 1 event which ended approximately around September 2011 -- and there was a lot of other well-known Savage players participating back then as well. This time around, it looks like even more famous Sav players and people will be signing up for Mafia 2 - Healer War!

Well how about that, September 2011 has rolled around, and things are pretty quiet around these parts! For many of you folks in high-school, college, university, or even out in working at part-time, or perhaps, career jobs -- summer vacation has ended either a fair while ago, or just within the last few days. I certainly can testify that most of the young folks here in Canada, those in high-school or even post-secondary school, have all started up new terms/semesters that will require utmost dedication in academic mind, passion, willpower, and heart. Those of you studying and learning in school, a hearty salute and best wishes for a brand new year -- follow your heart and your dreams, it may be more practical than you think!
